#ReadAThon Update, Day 4 – Just finished Mokingjay
A nice reading session tonight of 4 hrs and I’m done with Mokingjay. I don’t want to say anything more, since I know so many of my fellow #ReadAThon participants are reading it, so…’Night all

Seems 2 hrs and 4 chapters is the order of the week.
My favorite phrase from Mockingjay this evening: “the restless, wiggling majority” (p.154)
Also, I am so worried about Peeta! Makes me glad I’m only on Ch. 14.
As requested by Melissa at Indie Pride, my indie read is The Advance Man: A Journey Into the World of the Circus is by Jamie Macvicar
p.s. Jamie is in my writing group. I had no interest in the circus or marketing until I started hearing Jamie read in group – this is just such a fabulously written book that you can’t help but get pulled it.
2 more hours of reading tonight (5 more chapters) and I’m done Part 1 of Mockingjay. Ahh, it’s soo good! The only reason I can put it down is that I know I’ll be reading more tomorrow night. This is ironic because it means the only thing keeping me from staying up reading until dawn is the knowledge that I am participating in the From Dust ‘Til Dawn Read-A-Thon.
(Also amusing…that I just found myself wondering whether a smiley-winking-face belongs before or after a period.)
Tonight I read for 2 hrs; 58 pages/4 chapters of Mokingjay.
Conclusion: Reading with others is great fun (and somewhat slower than reading alone)
.
Also: Mockingjay is just as fabulous as the first two Hunger Games books.
And goodnight.
